Ms. Ahtika Tokas, Alumnus -Rai Business School, Delhi

A lecture was delivered by Miss. Ahtika Tokas who happens to be an alumnus of Rai Business School, Delhi and is currently employed with Naukriguru.com. The lecture was given on "Corporate Scenario Today."

Miss. Tokas talked about the most frequently asked questions in the interview. She also briefed about the work culture and the environment in the corporate sector. She discussed the most important things that one needs to posses in order to get recruited. To name a few they are positive attitude, knowledge, good communication skills, adaptability and above all versatility. She also shared about her struggle and experience in the corporate world.

The lecture was very motivating that made the picture clearer that there is no shortcut to success. In order to get recruited one needs to improve his or her skills as well as increase the horizon of knowledge. In addition to all this, she informed that one should have the zeal and passion to work.

Pranav Jyoti, Principal Consultant - South Asia & EMEA

Rai Business School, Delhi organised a Guest Lecture by Pranav Jyoti, Principal Consultant (South Asia & EMEA ), an alumnus of Rai Business School, Delhi. He delivered a lecture on MBA and its experiences. He started with describing about his own journey in RBS campus. He shared all his thoughts and experiences with the faculty and students of RBS. Mr. Jyoti described MBA as a journey of life and said that one has to constantly believe in self and others with whom one works. Learning is an important aspect of life and it is not only about learning but retaining all that we learn, helps us in shaping our future. One has to be involved in every activity whether it is studies or playing. He meaningfully quoted "All work and no play make jack a dull boy". He divided MBA in 4-quarters: 1st quarter includes making friends and understanding the system. The 2nd quarter includes internships, case studies, projects, etc. The 3rd quarter involves opting specializations, studying, answering a lot of questions. Finally, the 4th quarter involves placements etc.

Mr. Parikshit Chopra, Sales Manager, Ansal Group

Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Mr. Parikshit Chopra, Sales Manager (Ansal Group) and an alumnus of Rai Business School. He delivered a lecture on "Management Education". The lecture was initiated with a motivational video. He discussed some aspects like winning, four categories of people, three reasons for energy drain, two mahamatras, confidence vs. overconfidence, people management, etc. He explained the relevance of feedback in an individual's life. He defined Team as T - Together E- Everyone, A - Achieve, M - More. The lecture had some beautiful wisdom from Bhagwat Gita. He said that by applying moral values, work can reach to the highest level of luxury which a common man can never dream of.
