The Teacher as Coach
Mr Sumantra Nag conducted a Faculty Development Program. The topic for his presentation was "The Teacher as Coach". In his presentation, Mr. Nag described his experiences of incorporating coaching behaviors into their practices as management educators. He defined coaching in the classroom environment as working with student to develop their self- awareness and capacity for self-discovery, while motivating them to begin a process of continuous learning and development.

Teaching Techniques
Faculty Development Program was conducted by Mr. M.P. Sinha and Subhash Chandra, both management consultants with the centre for Management Education & Research (CMER). The 2- day program consisted of management games for teachers, exercises & presentations so as to better acquaint them with the latest market needs & aspirations of management students as well. Emphasis was laid on better communication skills and research methodology.
