" Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Mr. Rishi Arora (Vice President, Plug2india) on 28 February 2010. He delivered a lecture on innovation and how it makes the man perfect. A good team work will always lead to perfection. He organized a simulation exercise. After that he divided the class in four departments as HR, Marketing, Research & Development and Production department. The Students were very participative and gave their views and ideas towards a particular project. The main objective was to garner various ideas from the students and to analyze a particular solution, which helps the process of innovation. After getting the particular solution, he mentioned that Mission, Vision and Scope are the indispensable part of any organization. The entire exercise was done to give the students knowledge on how to become an entrepreneur.

" Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Mr. Deep Bajaj (Account Director, Thyme India Ltd.) on 10 February 2010. He delivered a lecture on Strategy and Events of Advertising. He highlighted the basic promotional mix that is present for the marketer to promote their products in the market. He discussed about above the line and below the line advertising, wherein how they are different from each other and in which situation one is more beneficial than other. In addition he described about different strategies that can be used to promote the product in the competitive market. He also explained the importance of advertising in formation of consumer behavior and a brand. Finally the concept of IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) was discussed by him.

" Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Pranav Jyoti (Principal Consultant-South Asia & EMEA ) an alumnus of Rai Business School, Delhi on 24 February 2010 . He delivered a lecture on MBA and its experiences. He started with describing about his own journey in RBS campus. He shared all his thoughts & experiences with the faculty and students of RBS. He described MBA as a journey of life, and said that one has to constantly believe in self & the others with whom one works. Learning is an important aspect of life, and he told not only learning but retaining all that we learn, helps us in shaping our future. One has to be involved in every activity whether it is studies or playing. He quoted "All work and no play make jack a dull boy". He divided MBA in 4-quarters: 1st quarter includes making friends, understanding the system. 2nd quarter includes internships, case studies, projects, etc. 3rd quarter involves opting specializations, study, answering lot of questions. And 4th quarter involves placements etc

" Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Mr. Anupam Sharma (Chief Consultant, Brainpower) on 25 February 2010. He delivered a lecture on Being Good to Great. In his lecture he took the students to mythological era and discussed about the Amrit Manthan. He also explained the concept of motivation and its importance in management world. He explained about the fundamentals of life and how they can be practiced. He said one should set deadlines for long term to attain their goals. One should always be on toes and not on heels, which will eventually help anyone in facing the forthcoming situations. At the end of the presentation, he suggested effective time management skills and how thinking differently from others will enhance the consequences of work in a unique way.

Mr. Parikshit Chopra (Sales Manager, Ansal Group) on 26 February 2010.

" Rai Business School, Delhi organized a Guest Lecture by Mr. Parikshit Chopra (Sales Manager, Ansal Group) an alumnus of Rai Business School on 26 February 2010. He delivered a lecture on Management Education.The lecture was initiated with a motivational video. He discussed some aspects like winning, four categories of people, three reasons for energy drain, two mahamatras, confidence vs. overconfidence, people management, etc. He explained the relevance of feedback in an individual's life. He defined Team as T - Together E- Everyone, A - Achieve, M - More.The lecture had some beautiful wisdom from Bhagwat Gita. He said that by applying moral values, work can reach to the highest level of luxury which a common man can never dream of.
